I talk about this is one of my recent readings. I got financial aid, but if I didn't also have a brother that gave me free rent, I wouldn't have ever gotten involved on campus, and if I hadn't experienced student leadership, I certainly wouldn't have been passionate about social justice or have made many of the connections I have made in recent years.
